February 2020 Prayer Letter (1st)

February 12, 2020

Dear friends and family,

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.

Psalm 31:24

Quick Update on what’s happening here in Peru.

This new year started off well. There were several gatherings of the local pastors in Estrecho. Our times together have been more frequent and also more fruitful. We have many more people that want to participate. The number one priority at this time is planning for the rest of the year. There will be several workshops offered and we will begin preparing for the January 2021 conference coordinated by the pastor’s group. This conference is being planned to be held in the village Atalaya along the Putumayo River. My role will be to advise and possibly be one of the speakers. I am uplifted and thankful that the pastor’s group is becoming increasingly unified.

We are all looking forward to how and where the Lord will lead us in 2020. We rely on the Holy Spirit for wisdom. We pray for His continued guidance as we organize and prepare for the upcoming Pastor’s Conference of March 9-14 2020. Please pray for the transportation needs for the attendees. Many will travel from San Lorenzo to Barranquillo (a small village on the River Pastaza). One of the village elder’s there has informed us that the Kandozi Indiginus people are really looking forward to attending the conference. Ron Rushton from PA will be once again be joining us as a speaker for the event.

The ministry owns a 30HP boat that is kept in San Lorenzo. This may not be large enough to transport for those attending. We are praying to possibly rent a larger speed boat. We are also waiting on the Lord’s provision for the Pastor’s Conference to by fully funded.
Thank you all for every prayer lifted for us and for your gracious support of the ministry.

Adios for now,
Your Brother in Christ,
Clif
