December 2025 Prayer Letter

December 7, 2025

“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Isaiah 9:6

Dear Family and Friends,

Once again, I am at awe how the Lord provides. He has blessed me with many praying friends and family, and much needed financial aide. I thank God for His goodness and faithfulness throughout all the years I have been a missionary in Peru. Although Thanksgiving is a past event now, I hope you all enjoyed a blessed and joyful day with your family and friends.

After my short visit to PA ( August 24-September 18), I returned to Peru refreshed and anxious to accomplish preparations for the annual Pastor / Leader Conference. Unfortunately, our team was caught off guard by the spiritual warfare we encountered before, during and even after the conference. In John 16:33 when Jesus tells the disciples: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Thankfully God gave us His blessing even with the warfare. PRAISE GOD and AMEN!!

During the first week of the workshops, 84 Peruvian men attended the two day outboard engine and chain saw workshop. There were 68 women attending the sewing instructions, measuring fabric and cutting patterns workshops. Many of the women were first timers. The sewing students needed to wait and take turns on the sewing machines. YES, we definitely need more machines.

During the second week of the Bible teaching program there were 38 pastors in attendance. There has been a progressive increase of attendees each year. We owe many thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the teachers from the USA who helped facilitate the program. They include Ed Brauer, CCPhilly, Bob Insera, CC Stroudsburg and Glen Goffin, CCCentral Bucks. All together there were 400 attendees during the 2 weeks.This includes wives and children. We were very pleased to present a children’s program again this year. We give thanks for Yazna Buena, a missionary from Mexico who facilitated this activity.

There were 6 tribes attending this year. Each tribe was well represented. Those included : Kondoshi, Chapra, Achuar, Shawi,
Huambisa and Awajuan.
The men attending the Bibles studies from these tribes are considered pastors and spiritual leaders. We were so pleased and thankful to observe how much more open they were when participating in the Q & A sessions. Also, they were more receptive to the teaching and their understanding of the Word has grown. We were also encouraged to see more unity between the tribes.
Thank You Lord, for you are the one who provides the increase.

WE GIVE GOD ALL THE GLORY FOR THE OUTCOME OF THIS CONFERENCE. HIS MIGHTY HAND WAS OVER EVERY ASPECT OF THE EVENT. WE ALSO GIVE THANKS FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS COMMITTED BOTH PRAYERFULLY AND FINANCIALLY TO THE MINISTRY OF AVIVAMIENTO AMAZONICA. YOUR SUPPORT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED! YOU ALL ARE A HUGE BLESSING!

Because of your commitment for Avivamiento Amazonica, we were able to purchase a large tent. A two fold blessing , which the attendees were covered from the sun during the day. In the evening some slept under the the tent, providing more accommodations.

Thank you again. We were so blessed be able to continue with this incredible conference for the indigenous people of Peru. Your contribution is an invaluable asset to our organization as we spread the gospel, teaching the lost, and teaching God’s people to help Christians who are in desperate need.
