February 2019 Prayer Letter
February 20, 2019
Dear Friends and Family,
I arrived well in Iquitos, although the flight down was really bad on my lower back. I spent one week in Lima purchasing items for myself and for the work to be done. I then made some preparations and plans for a trip to San Lorenzo which is on the Maranon River. On Tuesday February 5, I flew to to San Lorenzo and met the MEPI group there. The MEPI group and I went a little farther up river to bless the Kandoshi people with a medical outreach team and Bible teaching for adults and kids. I was one of the translators, translating english to Spanish, and then someone else translated Spanish to Kandoshi. There were approximately 200 adults and 60 children that came out. Our time here was well received. Pray that the seeds planted will grow fruit.
The boat ride back to San Lorenzo and on to Iquitos, yes I came back by boat with MEPI group, which we were in the boat for a 2 day boat ride.
Back in Iquitos, I got right to work. PRAISE that I was able to purchase a long boat along with one outboard motor and one generator. Still looking to buy two smaller generators in the near future. The boat came by cargo ship to San Lorenzo, as you can see in the pictures below. Next, I will fly back to San Lorenzo this Friday Feb. 22. There I will meet with four Pastors to plan and discuss our projection for this year. Please lift up our meeting. I plan to visit Estrescho the second or third week of March. Thank you for all your prayers.
The conference that was planned for the end of March has been postponed.
