2026 Financial Needs

The Vision of Avivamiento Amazonica is to bring the Gospel to the unreached indigenous
people of the Amazon basin in Peru and revitalize and support the already existing churches/
Christian groups.
This is a request for funds to cover the following expenses of Avivamiento Amazonica mission
for the remainder of 2026:

1. $4,500 to purchase a Fugon vehicle. A WHAT? Imagine a powerful motorcycle attached
to the bed of a pickup with the ability to carry cargo and people!! Essential for multi-‐
tasking!

2. $7,000 for a motorcycle used for transportation to support the mission work in and
around Iquitos.

3. $25,000 to cover the cost of the Annual Pastor’s Conference taking place in October
2026. These funds will be for multiple purposes. First, expenses for the 2 workshops
taking place. Items needed are school supplies, tools, used outboard motors, chain saws
and 2 sewing machines.

Week 1: Training classes for students (men) in small motor, chain saw and outboard
motors and for women instruction for sewing and clothing repair.

Week 2: Training the indigenous people, who are spiritual leaders in the villages, in

God’s Word. The 60 men who will participate this October are eager to hear the
message/teaching as their hunger for the Bible is extraordinary.

Secondly are the travel costs of the visiting American Bible teachers to and from Lima,
Iquitos then to San Lorenzo. Also gasoline for the river boats. Lastly the funds to pay the
salaries of interpreters, fund the workshop instructors and pay the cooks for feeding
approximately 700 participants.

4. $3,000 for 2 long boats, similar to the larger elongated narrow canoe with usually a
single roof on it and the 9hp motors (called peki peki) to run them. These will be
essential for the senior pastors to travel the rivers taking evangelism and support to
small native villages.

5. $18,000 for a 29ft covered boat to travel the Amazon propelled by 115hp motor with a
capacity of 10 passengers which would enable an entire team of visiting pastors to
travel numerous rivers taking the Gospel and much needed hope to the indigenous
people in remote villages.

6. $25,000 for a pickup. This vehicle would be kept in Iquitos to facilitate the ministry work
along with the ability to move supplies and cargo.

7. $200,000 for a 1 acre mission compound to accommodate an annual conference,
training classes, lodging also to include my living space.
