October 2026 Prayer Letter
“And the LORD, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

Dear Family and Friends,
It is difficult to know where to begin this newsletter. First and foremost, I want to say a special thank to Calvary Chapel Central Bucks for your continued support. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity mean so much to me and have been a tremendous blessing throughout this mission journey.
I also want to thank everyone who made my time in PA possible and successful. So many people have played a part in helping me prepare, communicate, and share about the mission taking place in Peru during the mission table in September. I’m truly grateful for each person’s support, encouragement and willingness to be part of this mission.
I especially want to thank John Gehman for his help with the videos and the prayer cards. I am also grateful for Caleb Fia for using his expertise in technology to help set up my computer and TV screen. Thank you to Sandy Ries for helping get everything together for the meet-and-greet mission table.
I am very appreciative and thankful to Rick Shavensky for opening up his home to me during my month-long stay, and putting up with me. His kindness and hospitality were a tremendous blessing, and I am so grateful for his generosity.
Through the Mission’s ministry, I am especially thankful for Pete Emery and Paul Weinburger, and the Tuesday night missions prayer gathering that happens each month. What a blessing it is to know that people are faithfully praying for the work being done in Peru. The ministry also provided me with a car for my transportation for the month.
I also had a very special time with the 5th-grade Sunday school class. It was such a wonderful opportunity to spend time with them and share about ministry work.
Further shout outs: My dentist in Chalfont, Bob Phillips who stepped up to take care of finances, my computer guy who takes care of the web site, Sandy Ries and Bonnie Wenner working so faithfully on on all the newsletters. Thank You
And finally, a massive thank you to all of you- who pray, read these newsletters, encourage me with emails and phone calls, help with finances and support the mission work. Every contribution matters, and every prayer makes a difference.
BECAUSE OF ALL OF YOU, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, BECAUSE OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS, THE CONFERENCE IN OCTOBER HAS BEEN COMPLETELY FUNDED!!

The last minute plans are underway for the annual Pastor/Leader Conference and workshops. The Bible teaching will be held October 11-15. The workshops will be held October 17-22 which include:
basic sewing skills for the women and small motor repair also outboard motor repair and chainsaw repair for the men. In anticipation of the Pastor/Leader conference in October, we are working on the remodeling of the mission boat and also repairing roofs at the mission compound. I PRAISE God for his faithfulness as he provides what it takes to be a missionary for Christ!!
